Each contained five individually perforated stamps actually valid for postage. Four famous Revolutionary War paintings were used for these Bicentennial issues featuring: The Declaration of Independence, Washington Crossing the Delaware, Washington Reviewing his Ragged Army at Valley Forge and the Surrender of Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown.
