Product Description
1977 Set: Includes TWO Big Ikes
Included in the 12-coin 1977 set are specially minted BU specimens of all circulation coin issues for the date: both Philadelphia (no mintmark) and Denver (D) cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, half dollars and second-to-last Eisenhower dollars. Its output of 2.0 million was about the same as the 1970 mint set, which retails for much more.
1988 Set: Fewer Produced
The U.S. Mint produced just 1,646,204 of these 10-coin Uncirculated sets in 1988, while nearly twice as many matching date proof sets were issued. This issue contains exceptional unblemished examples of the year's circulation coins struck by the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. Original U.S. Mint packaging.
1992 Set: Lowest Mintage of its Type
This 10-coin 1992 set's 1.5 million output is easily the lowest of the dozen U.S. mint sets that are at our entry level price range. The set contains specially struck perfect BU specimens of circulation coins produced that year by the principal Philadelphia Mint (P) plus the Denver (D) branch mint. Included are cents, nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars. Coins are enclosed in protective see-through packs.
