The 6-coin 1979 proof set introduced that very first forward-looking SBA dollar. Each coin features deep-struck frosted engravings and mirror fields. The year's 12-coin mint set had a production of only 2.5 million and features the very first Philadelphia and Denver SBA dollars in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
