1980 Proof Set. The popular 6-coin 1980 proof set contained the second-year issue of the short-lived Susan B. Anthony dollar. The protective case was modified from the previous year to accommodate the petite SBA dollar.
1980 Mint Set. The 1980 mint set contains pristine examples of uncirculated coins from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. The number of coins in this set rose to 13 with the inclusion of an additional SBA dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint. Unpopular in commerce due to its nearness in size to the quarter, the SBA dollar was only struck for four years; 1979-1981 and again in 1999.
