Product Description
This stirring commemorative was one of eight silver dollars issued to celebrate the 1996 Olympic Games held in Atlanta, Georgia. Mintages for these coins were limited due to the large number produced in a short period. The Paralympics, run in connection with the Olympic games, feature participants with physical disabilities. Shown is a blind tethered runner and the inscription, Triumph of the Human Spirit. The reverse engraving includes a pair of clasped hands symbolizing brotherhood and team spirit. Proof quality.
Please note that our modern commemoratives are not always available in the original mint packaging.
