Product Description
This stirring commemorative was one of a slate of sixteen different coins minted to commemorate the Centennial Olympic Games held in Atlanta, Georgia. (The modern Olympic Games can be traced back to games held in Athens, Greece in 1896.) Shown is a male athlete crossing the high bar with the Olympic five ring symbol below. A very limited 15,697 were released in this mint-state quality while almost eight times that number were produced as proof specimens.
Please note that our modern commemoratives are not always available in the original mint packaging.
