In addition to the popular State Quarters produced for commerce, the U.S. Mint also released proof sets, each containing the year's five quarter issues. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, these beautiful coins bear the S mint mark, feature sharp detail with mirror-like backgrounds and are encased in a protective holder. Each quarter has a reverse design unique to the state it represents. Proof set mintages ranged from over 1 million at the beginning of the series and dwindled to just 672,438 by the final year. Included in this complete collection are all 10 proof sets from 1999-2008 and a FREE storage box.
