Unveiled in 2000, the small Sacagawea dollar was produced with the aim of reviving the $1 coin in commerce. The U.S. Mint pulled the plug on circulation strikes after just two years and since then the Sacagawea dollar has only been produced for collectors in limited mintages. The coin's engravings remained static until 2008; in 2009 the series was modified to showcase annually changing reverse designs. Housed in two FREE folders, our Brilliant Uncirculated 18-coin set includes all Philadelphia and Denver specimens from the first nine years of the series.
