This colorful collection of 50 se-tenant U.S. postage stamps was released in 2002 and marked the first time that a stamp was issued in every state on the same day. Invoking the nostalgia of vintage travel postcards from the 1930s and 40s, iconic images associated with each of the 50 U.S. states appear on these stamps. The back of the liner paper lists the date of each state's entry into the union, its flower, bird, tree and capital. Later in 2002 this sheet was reissued as 37¢ in reflection of a postal rate increase. Make sure to add this mint-sheet to your collection!
