In 1903 at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, after much experimentation, Orville and Wilbur Wright produced the first sustained flight of an airplane. This magnificent 90% silver tribute portrays the Wright Brothers, and the world-changing event of the soaring Wright Flyer above rolling hills in breathtaking majesty. Almost twice as many Proof coins were minted making this Brilliant Uncirculated issue, with a mintage of just 57,122 a tougher find.
