In the 1950s and 1960s she developed "Citizenship Schools" which taught literacy and citizenship rights to African Americans in the Deep South. Common obverse depicts the Statue of Liberty and a privy mark of a stylized gear. Edge incused date and D-mintmark. Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
