Product Description
Canada 1960-1966 Voyageur Silver Dollar BU: First issued in 1935, Canada's Voyageur silver dollar featured the now-famous engraving of a fur trader and indigenous guide paddling a canoe against a backdrop of Northern lights. The iconic design would be used for the next 50 years in commerce, but its traditional composition of 80% silver was altered to one of nickel from 1968 forward. We'll choose a specimen from the final years the coin was struck with silver content. Queen Elizabeth II obverse. BU condition. Our choice of date based on availability.
Canada 1967 Flying Goose Silver Dollar BU: Struck for Canada's centennial, this popular 80% silver dollar was issued only in 1967. It proved to be the last circulation silver dollar released by the Royal Canadian Mint. The flying goose image is one of Canada's best-known wildlife coin designs. The bust of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse. Our Brilliant Uncirculated specimens are a wonderfully affordable way to add silver to your collection.
