This .900 fine silver coin was the first 2 mark coin issued by Prussia. It followed the size, weight and measurements of other German 2 marks of the day. Shown on the obverse is then King of Prussia, Wilhelm I who was also the first head of state of a united Germany. The reverse engraving features the crowned Imperial eagle. Although this issue is over 14 decades old it is remains in Very Fine condition with all engravings clearly legible.
