A star is born – or rather, a star note is born when, upon inspection, the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing deems a note imperfect before being released into circulation. The defective note is removed and replaced with a star note, which has an asterisk that appears either before or after the serial number on the bill. We have a limited quantity of these vintage 1969 star notes available in Crisp Uncirculated condition.Product Videos
