Product Description
1882-O Morgan Silver Dollar MS-63 – Although the Old South's branch mint struck over six million Morgans in 1882, tremendous numbers were later lost in government melts. It's authoritatively estimated that as few as 162,000 – about 3% of the original output may survive today in mint-state quality and of those, only a fraction make the cut and qualify for higher grading. To put that into perspective, the finest known specimen graded MS-68+ was sold at auction in 2015 for almost $109,000 – making our MS-63 issues a heck of a deal! Certified by PCGS or NGC.
1898-O Morgan Silver Dollar MS-63 – More than six decades ago, this historic New Orleans Mint Morgan dollar was a once a pricey top rarity of the series. Then in the 1960s the U.S. Treasury opened its vaults and sold off its last remaining bags of Uncirculated silver dollars, among which included some of these coveted 1898-O issues. Suddenly, this connoisseur's treasure became affordable for collectors, although today mint-state specimens are getting tougher to find. Each MS-63 specimen we offer exhibits beautiful luster and no wear. Certified by PCGS or NGC.
