Product Description
This early 90% silver U.S. commemorative was struck for the 300th anniversary of the Pilgrim landing at Plymouth Rock. Just over 150,000 were issued in 1920 featuring no date on the obverse. Shown is Governor Bradford holding the Holy Book and the Mayflower in full sail. A small D is found under the Pilgrim's elbow, but although it looks like a mintmark for the Denver Mint it is actually the intial of the designer, Cyrus Dallin. In fact, all 1920 Pilgrim halves were struck in Philadelphia. Sharply detailed Extra Fine quality.
