The dramatic engraving features an American G.I. hitting the beach at Normandy on D-Day. On the reverse is Eisenhower's D-Day message and the insignia of SHAEF, the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force. Finest-quality proof minting with deep-struck frosted engravings and mirror fields.
