Product Description
The bald eagle has symbolized freedom and democracy since 1782, when our founding fathers designated it as our national emblem. This tribute presents a pair of baby eaglets and an unhatched egg in a nest. The reverse depicts Challenger, the famous mature bald eagle cared for by the American Eagle Foundation, in front of the American flag. Far fewer Brilliant Uncirculated specimens were produced than proof issues, making these mint-state coins a tougher find.
Please note that our modern commemoratives are not always available in the original mint packaging.
