The Franklin series ran for just 15 year and was the last to be completely struck with traditional 90% silver content. Its short length makes putting together a Franklin half dollar set relatively easy and well worth the effort! In 1954, the Denver Mint issued just 25.4 million of these half dollars. These Brilliant Uncirculated specimens never entered commerce.
