Product Description
Nickels during World War II were composed of copper, silver and manganese to eliminate the need for nickel which was a critical wartime material. Large mintmarks were added to these coins to distinguish them from standard issues. Our 1943 San Francisco specimen features an S above the dome on the reverse. Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
