This first New Orleans Mint Morgan dollar issue of the century was among the last produced by that venerable institution. The vast majority of 1900-O issues were held in U.S. Mint and Treasury vaults, and then lost forever in the huge government melts during the world wars. Compared to some earlier O-Mint Morgans, it's relatively scarce today in BU quality. Our Brilliant Uncirculated quality has nice original luster and no sign of wear (some bags marks are present, as is normal).
