Product Description
The small brass-clad copper dollar was struck for circulation only in 2000 and 2001 and just a limited number have been produced for collectors each year since. In 2009, the Mint began producing Native American dollars with one-year-only reverse engravings and this 2010 issue carries the Hiawatha Belt design. These San Francisco proof issues were only minted as part of the year's proof sets thus, sets have to be broken up to obtain these coins. Of the 1.7 million minted, only a small portion are available singly.
