Product Description
After the Philadelphia Mint introduced the Peace silver dollar late in 1921, this famous S branch mint released its first issue in 1922. The Peace dollar was to be the last silver dollar type struck for U.S. commerce by the Granite Lady, which had been one of the few public buildings to survive the 1906 San Francisco earthquake intact. The 1922-S issue is by far the scarcest for that date in our Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
