Product Description
1928 Philadelphia Peace Silver Dollar, About Uncirculated. When the series began, Congress imposed a quota on the number of Peace dollars to be produced. By 1928, the limit was reached and the Philadelphia Mint's output that year was abruptly stopped at merely 360,649 by far the lowest mintage of the series. Mint state specimens of this issue sell for nearly $1,200 each, making About Uncirculated quality a more affordable option for collectors.
