Product Description
Congress imposed a quota on the number of U.S. Peace dollars to be minted, beginning in 1921. The total series mintages would be confined just to the Morgan silver dollars melted in 1918. By 1928, the limit was reached and the Philadelphia Mints output that year abruptly stopped at merely 360,649 by far, the lowest mintage in the series.
