This San Francisco dime features the lowest mintage for the date. Over four times as many of these ten cent pieces were minted in Philadelphia and in Denver that year. Back in its day, this 90% silver dime could buy two candy bars or even a can of Campbell's Tomato Soup. Our Brilliant Uncirculated quality specimens never entered commerce and are as lovely as when when they were minted over six decades ago.
