Product Description
Most Walking Liberty half dollars had outputs well into the millions, with the highest mintage over 50 million. This issue's 491,600 production proved to be the third lowest in the entire series. The 1921 and 1921-D half dollars are the only issues with lower mintage numbers and those coins sell for more than four times as much as this 1938-D coin. Regarded as America's finest silver coin design, a magnificent Liberty, clad in the American flag, confidently strides towards a new dawn. All major designs are visible on our Good quality specimens.
