1925 Lexington-Concord Sesquicentennial Silver Half Dollar AU – On April 19, 1775 in Concord, Massachusetts, the first shot of the Revolutionary War was fired. A century and a half later, the first battles fought for American independence were honored on this 1925 silver half dollar in a collaborative effort by the towns of Lexington and Concord. The 90% silver issue depicts two famous landmarks: Concord's Minute Man statue, opposite Lexington's Old Belfry. Just 162,013 were minted, and only a small portion of those remain today in this About Uncirculated condition.
