1924 Philadelphia Peace Silver Dollar. Although the principal mint's output of 1924 was 11.8 million, it was still 20% less than its peak mintage of 1922. Issued when a dollar still held significant buying power, comparatively few were withheld from commerce or saved by collectors. Nearly a century later, an estimated 6% of surviving specimens remain in original mint-state condition.

1925 Philadelphia Peace Silver Dollar. In 1925, the Philadelphia Mint struck 1.6 million fewer Peace dollars than the year prior. With such massive outputs generated in the first two full years of the series, the mintage quota set to fulfill requirements of the 1918 Pittman Act drew nearer; 1925 would be the final year any Peace mintage topped 10 million. Through melts, attrition and the passage of 98 years, an estimated 10% of the original mintage may remain today in Brilliant Uncirculated and higher grades.
