This colorful sheet of twenty different 32-cent stamps is uncirculated and still intact. Issued in 1995, these beautiful stamps honor a wide variety of participants from the Civil War. Planning for this release proved to be the most extensive effort in the history of the U.S. Postal Service; to review and verify the factual accuracy of stamp subjects. Featured are Presidents, generals, major battles, rank-and-file soldiers, women, African and Native Americans and abolitionists. The back of each unused stamp carries information about the person or battle honored.
