This 2018 Innovation dollar proof coin was the inaugural issue of the series that will eventually feature 57-coins. Struck in San Francisco with an "S" mint mark, it was originally encased in official U.S. Mint proof set packaging, but is now available singly. Proof issues are the most beautiful form of these coins and feature sharp cameo images on a mirror-like field. Shown is a profile of the Statue of Liberty on the obverse and George Washington's signature on the nation's first patent on the reverse. Offered singly, not in packaging.
