Each year collectors and investors eagerly await the release of the silver eagle, which has been struck by the U.S. Mint since 1986. These beautiful, one ounce .999 fine silver coins underwent a revision in 2021 to celebrate the series' 35th anniversary; the original reverse design was retired and replaced with a modern engraving of an eagle, which has become the standard. The obverse continues with the magnificent Walking Liberty design that first appeared more than 100 years ago on the half dollar.
