Product Description
The U.S. Mint has not produced the Kennedy half dollar for circulation since 2002. Since then, the popular coin has only been minted in limited numbers for sale directly to collectors. Recent Brilliant Uncirculated Kennedy half dollar mintages have fallen to just a tiny fraction of previous outputs.
The iconic engravings on these coins has changed very little in the past half century other than a special design for to celebrate the United States Bicentennial. But changes may be coming to the series as a one-year redesign is planned for 2026 to celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary.
