Product Description
The first 2026 Innovation dollar honors Iowa native Dr. Norman Borlaug, the "Father of the Green Revolution," for his work developing resilient wheat to feed the world.
The Wisconsin Innovation dollar features the Cray-1, the first commercially successful supercomputer, and once the world's fastest. The image mimics the shape of a "C" for Cray-1 and "computer."
The California American Innovation dollar honors tech visionary Steve Jobs. The reverse engraving presents a young Steve Jobs sitting in front of a quintessentially northern California landscape of oak-covered rolling hills. Captured in a moment of reflection, his posture and expression reflect how this environment inspired his vision to transform complex technology into something as intuitive and organic as nature itself.
The Minnesota Innovation dollar is the fourth and final release of 2026. It honors Minnesota's historical contribution to mobile refrigeration with an engraving of a 1940s-era truck featuring an early front-mounted refrigeration unit, accompanied by icons of temperature-sensitive goods and the inscription "MOBILE REFRIGERATION".
Featured on the obverse of each is a special Liberty Bell privy mark for the nation's 250th anniversary. Set includes both Philadelphia and Denver specimen in BU quality.
