What didn't Benjamin Franklin do in his 84 years on earth? He wore many hats, and wore them well, too: scientist, inventor, author, printer... and among other abilities and professions too numerous to list, a Founding Father of the United States. Franklin also appeared on the $100 bill in 1914 and again in 1948 on the 50¢ piece — a posthumous addition to his already impressive resume. Although the longevity of the half dollar series wasn't nearly as long as Franklin's life, it is a favorite of collectors because assembling a complete set can be accomplished with relative ease. This trio of 90% silver half dollars in Brilliant Uncirculated condition makes for an excellent starting point. Our choice of dates.
