The American Innovation series features small, golden-colored dollars which will showcase innovators or innovations from each of the 50 states, District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories. Four coins with unique reverse designs will be issued each year from 2019 to 2032. The static obverse design displays the Statue of Liberty and a privy mark of a stylized gear. Edge incused date and mintmark. Our eight coin set features 2019 Philadelphia and Denver issues in Brilliant Uncirculated quality from the first full year of the series.
Delaware: Depicts astronomer Annie Jump Cannon who developed a system for classifying stars that is still used today.
Pennsylvania: Features a microscope and honors the creation of a vaccine to prevent polio.
New Jersey: Celebrates the invention of the light bulb.
Georgia: Features the Trustees' Garden, the first experimental botanical and agricultural garden established in the 1730s.
