Product Description
The immensely popular nickel was the last coin used in American commerce with engravings evoking the saga of the Wild West. Issued for the accustomed 25 years, the final Buffalo nickel appeared in 1938. The Denver Mint was the only facility to produce nickels that final year and far fewer were minted then had been in preceding years. Featuring super-fiery luster and virtually perfect surfaces, this last 1938-D Denver Mint issue is very scarce in the spectacularly stunning gem quality we are offering. Housed in transparent slab with PCGS or NGC certification.
Certified coins should never be removed from their cases and cannot be returned once removed.
