Product Description
In 1886, the New Orleans Mint struck nothing but Morgan silver dollars. Relatively few seem to have been kept in storage or a phenomenally higher proportion were lost in later melts. Today, just 1% of the issue's mintages is estimated to remain in any condition. That's a very low survival rate and it greatly affects value. Our Extra Fine quality features sharp details with light wear at the highest points.
