Product Description
U.S. Morgan silver dollar production- which reached its peak in the 1880s, had severely declined by 1892. In that year, just 1 million Morgans were issued by the principal Philadelphia Mint. Previous outputs had averaged over 20 million per year between 1887-1889 and over 9 million in 1890-1891. Of that very limited output, fewer than 10% remain today in the Brilliant Uncirculated quality that we offer here.
