Product Description
The repeal of the Sherman Silver Purchase Act in 1893 led to a drastic temporary plunge in silver dollar production. Fewer Morgan dollars were issued in 1895 overall than any other date in the series. The Philadelphia Mint did not strike any for circulation. This key-rarity Morgan of the New Orleans Mint had a mintage of merely 450,000. Today it's a very tough find in our nicely detailed Very Fine quality.
