Indian Head pennies were issued from 1859-1909 and are among the most popular and widely collected of all U.S. coins. The famous obverse was intended as a "quintessentially American" personification of Liberty. These precious treasures are no longer found in pocket change and get harder to find every year. Our set includes three different dates from the final decade of the series. Outputs for these historic pennies were all under 109 million, a small fraction of today's production numbers. Our Very Fine condition specimens feature clear dates and engravings.
