Product Description
1902 Morgan Silver Dollar XF: When the Morgan series was suspended after 1904, a large proportion of recent mintages were placed in storage and huge numbers were later lost in government melts during the world wars. Today it's estimated that less than 2% of this 1902 Philadelphia specimen's eight million mintage exists in mint-state condition. That makes circulated grades all the more desirable. Extra Fine quality features sharp details and only light wear.
1921-S Morgan Silver Dollar XF: Since the Morgan silver dollar series was suspended in 1904 the U.S. Mint had destroyed the existing hubs. In 1921, more silver dollars were needed. George T. Morgan, now the U.S. Mint's Chief Engraver, redesigned his famous coin from original 1878 models. This re-creation was somewhat different from all earlier Morgans, with generally less relief and was the only San Francisco date to carry a micro-S mintmark. Extra Fine quality.
