Product Description
The Morgan silver dollar series was suspended in 1904 and six years later the U.S. Mint destroyed the existing hubs. In 1921, more silver dollars were needed. George T. Morgan, now the U.S. Mint's Chief Engraver, redesigned his famous coin from original 1878 models. This re-creation was somewhat different from all earlier Morgans, with generally less relief and was the only San Francisco date to carry a micro-S mintmark. Extra Fine quality.Product Videos
