Issued from 1913 to 1938, the Buffalo nickel was designed by the famous sculptor James E. Fraser who grew up on the South Dakota prairie, where buffalo and Native Americans once roamed freely but had all but vanished from view in the course of his life. The beloved engraving was the last and most realistic Indian Head coin struck for American commerce. This set includes the final 10 issues of the series. You'll get the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco issues from 1935, 1936 and 1937, as well as the very last 1938 Denver coin. All will be in Very Good to Fine condition, with clear dates and mintmarks.
