The latest series from the U.S. Mint celebrates the pioneering efforts of innovators and inventions that helped shape our nation. Four unique coins with distinctive reverse designs will be released each year from 2019 to 2032.
Our eight-coin set features both Philadelphia and Denver 2020 Brilliant Uncirculated issues from the second year of the series. The Connecticut dollar celebrates the Gerber Variable Scale, a tool used by engineers and architects before the days of computers; Massachusetts' coin depicts a rotary dial, honoring Alexander Graham Bell's invention of the telephone; Maryland features the Hubble Telescope developed by NASA and South Carolina honors Septima Clark, educator and civil rights activist. The obverse features the Statue of Liberty and a privy mark of a stylized gear. Edge incused date and mintmark.
