Set of 10 Genuine Philippines WWII Guerilla Notes, After the invasion of the Philippines, Japanese forces replaced local currency with their own. Plucky guerrilla fighters and free provinces responded by defiantly printing emergency notes. But this currency came with grave risk — if caught by the Japanese while in possession of this money, the consequence would be death. Denominations will vary.
