Product Description
Celebrate America with coins that were actually produced in 1775, the year political unrest escalated into the America Revolution. Minted under King Charles III in silver-rich New Spain, these famous silver coins were by far the most favored currency of the Thirteen Colonies. Even after U.S. Mint coins were produced, these silver-laden issues remained legal-tender in the U.S. until 1857.
After a full quarter millennium only a tiny fraction of original silver reales have survived to our day. Our circulated pieces retain recognizable designs and dates. Reverse engravings may vary.
