Only about 2% of all Morgan silver dollar mintages were struck at this isolated Nevada mint, located near the fabled Comstock Lode. The CC mintmark carries an irresistible aura of the Old West. These lustrous silver dollars might have been robbed from banks in Treasury bags by desperadoes, then recovered by posses none the worse for wear.

PREMIUM MS-63 GRADING:
Only a small fraction of premium specimens exist compared to average mint-state silver dollars. These gorgeous issues were generally struck with nearly fresh dies, so they have improved luster and crispness compared to average Brilliant Uncirculated coins. To qualify for this high level of grading, a coin must have almost unblemished surfaces and impressive luster on both sides. These certifications are readily accepted throughout the country as assurance of a coin's high grade.
