Product Description
Morgan collectors have been bewitched by the CC mintmark for ages, and for good reason — just 2% of all Morgans were struck by the remote Nevada Mint. Although almost 14 decades old, this 1884 issue remains in splendid, lustrous Brilliant Uncirculated condition, thanks to being preserved in government vaults for decades. Like the Carson City issue before it, most of the 1884's original mintage was squirreled away due to the abundance of silver dollars already in circulation. These specimens sat moldering in vaults for nearly 80 years until the Treasury began housekeeping in the 1960s and 1970s, selling off bags of silver dollars.Product Videos
