Home of the second-to-last Ike dollars, just two million 12-coin mint sets were produced in 1977, far fewer than the matching date proof set. The big 13-coin 1981 mint set contains three Susan B. Anthony dollars. The Treasury decided not to follow through on the three planned circulation mintages for the dollar, which meant that the SBA coins were issued in Brilliant Uncirculated quality only in the 1981 mint set. The 10-coin 1990 mint set had a final output of 1.8 million, but far fewer remain intact today.
